MISSION

Professional bilingual service for all: francophones, anglophones, allophones, children and adults, students, school children, teachers etc. ;

in a pleasent and user-friendly space, accessible to all and open 53 hours a week with qualified service ;

contemporary collections in French and English which is in-tune with the latest literary and intellectual works from international francophone authors ;

literary manifestations including Round Tables, conferences, book-signings, presentations by authors, storytelling and workshops for schools and children in order to encourage discovery and debate.

COLLECTION

- 8 800 documents: 
- 1 300 novels by francophones and international authors translated into French,
- 800 Essays (philosophy, social sciences, art, tourism, history and geography)
- 1 500 documents in the youth collection (novels, non-fiction, comic books, story books,)
- a section dedicated to works to facilitate French language acquisition (français facile, abridged classics, audio books)
- 800 DVDs (francophone world cinema for youth and adults, filmed operas)
- 400 albums of Francophone world music
- 45 magazine subscriptions
- 600 French Canadian Resources
