Join us on the April 17th at 7:00pm to watch Bergers at La Cité des Rocheuses (4800 Richard Road SW) !
Aspiring writer Mathyas swaps his life as a young advertiser in Montreal for that of a shepherd in Provence. However, the path to the pastoral serenity he longs for is fraught with hard labor. The visit of Élise, a civil servant who abruptly quit her job, gives Mathyas' quest a new direction. Together, they embark on a transhumance. Faced with the challenges of the mountains and responsible for a flock, they will shape a new life for themselves. Loosely inspired by D'où viens-tu, berger? by Mathyas Lefebure.
The film is in French with English subtitles. This event is FREE!
