Join us on Sunday, January 26th, at 10:00 a.m. for an exciting hike at Burstall Pass, a challenging 9.6 km trail that takes about 3 hours to complete. This free event is open to participants aged 18 and above. Learn more about the hike on AllTrails by clicking here (it is rated as a moderate hike).
Don’t forget your Conservation Pass, as it’s required for parking in the area. Please also note that the road to Chester Lake (Highway 742, Smith-Dorrien Trail) is a gravel road with rugged conditions, including potholes and washboard surfaces. While most vehicles can make the trip, the drive can be bumpy and dusty. Exercise caution, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the road, and plan extra time to reach the trailhead safely.
Please be aware that if the weather is too severe, we may have to cancel this hike.
Please be aware that participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the meeting point, as the AFC can not provide carpooling services. Additionally, it's important to note that the staff members of Alliance Française are not guides, and each participant is responsible for their own safety. It is recommended that participants research the hike to ensure it aligns with their skill level. You will receive an email containing all the necessary information a few days prior to the event!
