On April 11th, 2025, at 6:15 pm, join the talented painter Patricia Lortie at the Alliance Française for a painting workshop in French. In this session, we will draw inspiration from Gustav Klimt’s enchanted forests. We will start by creating an abstract background that will serve as the base for painting your own version of a magical forest with vibrant colors.

This event is limited to 12 participants and is open to those aged 15 and above.
The workshop will last 1 hour and 30 minutes. Materials will be provided by our instructor, but you are welcome to bring your own painting supplies. Enjoy a glass of wine (for adults) while letting your creativity flow!

Price: $30 for members and $90 for non-members (include 1-year membership)

- About Patricia Lortie -

A well-established Calgary artist, Patricia Lortie began teaching 20 years ago for financial stability but continues today out of passion—fostering a love for art and seeing her students thrive. She exhibits her work in commercial and public galleries across Western Canada. Her practice explores natural systems, inspiring abstract creations in painting, video, digital art, installations, and sculpture. Her touring exhibition Les Gardiens features large tree-like sculptures made from recycled cardboard.
