DELF in Kelowna

DELF & DELF Junior in Kelowna

The Alliance Française of Calgary is excited to announce our collaboration with Le Centre Culturel Francophone de l'Okanagan, bringing the DELF Junior B1 and B2 and the DELF Adult exams to Kelowna! The exams will be held at their premises located at 702 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6P5.

In addition, the AFC will also be offering its regular DELF junior and DELF Adult exams in Calgary on the same day. This page is intended for the registration of the DELF exams in Kelowna only.

The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) and DELF junior are official diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify candidates' proficiency in French. They are the premier international certification for measuring French proficiency.

The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) junior version has the same basic structure as the standard DELF but the topics are different: the materials take into account the interests of young people. This is designed for children between 12 and 18 years of age.

The DELF examinations are recognized around the world, and your child will receive a diploma valid for the rest of their life! The DELF junior awarded is identical to the standard DELF diploma.

It is now widely implemented in Alberta school systems and all across Canada. The examinations are independent, and candidates can register for the examination of their choice. Each examination evaluates the four communication skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

To see a detailed overview of the DELF examinations, sample exams and examples of students' work, you can check the official website dedicated to the DELF examinations in Canada here.
