We invite you to apply for the AFC Bursary, a program designed to support families and individuals facing financial challenges. Our goal is to make learning French accessible to everyone with a passion for the language. As a local non-profit organization deeply rooted in our community, Alliance Française Calgary is committed to supporting all learners in their French language journey.
The AFC Bursary is designed to recognize and support learners with an interest to learn French. This year, we are pleased to offer bursaries to individuals eager to immerse themselves in our French programs. Bursaries may cover up to 100% of tuition fees for one session of group classes (up to 24 hours of class) and are available for both youth and adults. Please note that textbooks are not covered under the bursary program.
While AFC is dedicated to offering these bursaries to as many individuals as possible, please note that availability is limited to 10 recipients per year, and the program may reach capacity. To check the current availability of bursaries, please contact our office at 403-245-5662.
Please complete all required fields in the form below. Applications with thorough and detailed information have a higher likelihood of success.
Applicants will be notified of the decision within 4 weeks.
